My Wellness Philosophy
Simple Ways To Feel Your Best.

Nourish
Supporting your body is the first step to a healthier life. Nutrition is the basis for it! Eating a whole foods diet supports your body holistically and supports a strong, healthy body.

Rest
Rest is vital for strong mental health, concentration and memory, a healthy immune system, reduced stress, improved mood, and better metabolism. Your hormones will love you for getting some well-deserved rest!

Manage Stress
Stress wreaks havoc on the body, and daily life stresses your body out. Identifying and minimizing stress effectively is crucial to healing.

Sweating It Out
Moving your body is a great way to instantly feel better! It gets energy flowing, calms your mind, boosts your metabolism, and releases natural endorphins. Exercising, from HIIT to yoga, helps your keep your cycle strong and detox toxins.

Beauty Habits
Beauty is not only about genetics. The way we look also depends on our habits. Some of my favorite beauty habits are Gua Sha, dry brushing, tongue scraping, oil pulling, and sauna sessions.

Mindset
A positive mindset is an essential tool for supporting your body during your healing phase. Times of healing can be tough not only physically, but mentally, so it’s important to be mindful of your thinking patterns. Gratitude journaling or practicing affirmations are a great way to practice a positive mindset.

my journey
YEAR BY YEAR

2013
THE YEAR THAT STARTED IT ALL
I suffered from chronic sinus infections and was miserable every winter as a child. My parents introduced organic foods in my early teens, and I’m forever grateful. But, I didn’t see a reduction in many of my issues, especially my irregular period.
After years of irregular periods, I was convinced that the only solution would be to begin taking the birth control pill. Research showed that periods regulate within seven years after beginning, so why was mine still all over the place after eight?
I struggled to find a pill with the “right” hormone levels to suit my body. I wanted to stick with the lowest hormone levels, so I tried the pill with the lowest on the market. All it did was make me bleed, due to hormone irregularities. After trying two more pills, I found one that I felt worked. My period was on a regular schedule, I felt emotionally stable, and I was happy with my decision.
2019
THE YEAR THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
2019 was a formative year for me and my health.
It was the year I started to research alternatives to the birth control pill and how to heal my body once I stopped taking it.
I combined my years of holistic research, learning the damage that pharmaceuticals can wreak on the body, and took a leap of faith. I decided on the copper IUD (intrauterine device), a non-hormonal contraceptive. I wanted a stress-free birth control option that didn’t include artificial hormones.
I learned what vitamins and minerals were depleted during my birth control consumption and how to get my levels back up. I didn’t have a super smooth transition off of the pill, but by restoring my mineral stores and continuing to make smart health choices, my journey wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

2022
THE YEAR OF TRANSFORMATION
2022 ushered in a huge wave of transformation! I was stuck in limbo after years post-pill just feeling “meh.” I thought I was making the “right” decisions for my body: eating vegetarian, sticking to mostly organic foods, moving my body. But something just wasn’t clicking, and I found myself lingering in a place of feeling OK but not great.
I enrolled in a heavy metal detox program with one of my holistic health mentors. The program taught me discipline and the value of following a balanced diet. The program introduced me to new detox tools that I still use daily.
I felt truly healthy for the first time in forever and experienced results that others could see. The program and transformation ignited a fire to continue my education and help others heal their bodies as I did.
2024
THE YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS
After years of researching holistic health programs, I finally enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach program. I transitioned my social media presence from a travel blogger and crafter to a health coach. My website shifted to suit your needs and those of my future clients! I’ve undergone some pretty big shifts in the last few years, but I have to say that becoming a health coach is the most exciting.

and the story continues with you!
